Swervecast 28 - The Heat Returns Again

August 17th, 2017

Ladies and Gentlemen, gather around and join Swervecast host Sean Cahill as he is flanked again by Jeremy Duff for this week's episode of Swervecast. SummerSlam is right around the corner, so Sean and Jeremy spend the show predicting the card, doing some fantasy booking, and re-living some of the best and worst WCW PPV ideas along the way. There's even a Shockmaster reference along with Game of Thrones. (We promise there are no spoilers.) SummerSlam is guaranteed to be six hours with the pre-show, but come take a couple of hours out of your day before that and enjoy the 28th volume of Swervecast, The Heat Returns Again!

The Music Blitz: Would You Rather with Ded

August 1st, 2017

I cannot say this enough, do yourself a favor and listen to Ded. These guys are amazing and extremely talented. I had the privilege to sit down with vocalist Joe Cotela and guitarist David Ludlow during the bands Michigan stop of their current tour with Korn and Stone Sour. The guys provided me with the feedback they have been receiving from not only the fans but their friends and family as well after the release of their new record Mis-An-thrope, which dropped July 21. They also talked about working with Fred Durst as their music video producer and what we can expect from them soon when they have some time off.

Not only are these guys amazing to watch perform live but they're also fun. We ended the interview with a little game of "Would You Rather" and things got a little weird. Listen in and give us your feedback!

NOVA Talk returns this week with heavy hearts as the passing of Linkin Park front man, Chester Bennington, took his own life last Thursday on the birthday of his close friend, Chris Cornell. Both were massive fans of him and the band so they close out the episode with their stories and thoughts about suicide and how you can help.

Also mentioned this week are album reviews from Silverstein, Ded and Tyler, The Creator as well as their weekend recap of Warped Tour and Faster Horses Festival.

All music this is provided by Linkin Park. The band set up a website dedicated to Chester as well as provide information to many ways to discuss suicide and ways to reach out if you need help.

Listen in and check out our photos from Sunday night.
